It's been nearly 4 years since we've released our last album, and I can tell you it hasn't been for lack of trying. The last 4 years have been stuffed full of tours and band changes and came with a laundry list of lessons-learned. Now we're settled down and ready to share our music with the world.

Album Review

Peace in Pieces, the Betty Fox Band's long awaited 3rd studio release, is a 13 song soul-infused masterpiece featuring 12 original songs and one spiritual. It was recorded at the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, AL with none other than Spooner Oldham on Wurlitzer, and the FAME horn section and backing vocals. The album features major cowriting contributor Josh Nelms on guitar, Barry Williams on bass, Chris Peet on drums, and the legendary Clayton Ivey on piano and Organ. Betty Fox's vocals soar as these musicians lay down a heavy groove, and their inherent soul is contagious. It is the best musical project they have released and certainly one of the best I have heard from an undiscovered band in a long time. Betty Fox is not only a charismatic and magnetic entertainer, but she also wrote and/or co-wrote all lyrics and music on the album including horn production and backing vocals. Their self-produced, original perspective is steeped in extensive knowledge of blues and soul music, and each song is heavily influenced by certain heroes of theirs, including but not limited to Al Green, Mavis Staples, B.B. King, Aretha Franklin, the Rolling Stones, Donny Hathaway, James Carr and Curtis Mayfield. Give it a listen, and you'll hear it for yourself. This is one of the greatest undiscovered bands on the scene today, and with this release it is obvious it won't be long until they reach the world with their inspiring message and powerful delivery.

Thank you

I will say it time and time again, to those of you who support us and listen to our music, thank you. A thousand times, thank you .
